“Many parents want to be more involved in their children’s education. In a recent study in England 72% of parents said that they wanted more involvement”
The Parent Forum
The Parent Forum was established to provide an opportunity for parents and carers to have a much greater say in how the school is organised, the curriculum, behaviour and rewards, uniform and many other issues. It is a voluntary group of between 15 and 20 parents who meet every term. It is our parents’ chance to have a real say in the development of school policy and decision making. Each meeting is chaired by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Students from various groups within the school also often attend to give their opinions on the issues raised. Minutes of Parent Forum meetings are downloadable below and if you like to join this effective team, please contact us.
“Our Parent Forum is a really good mix of people with an array of different experiences and skills that they offer. They have been instrumental in many aspects of the school including changes to uniform, rewards and our transition process”.
