Mr Harah – Director of Sixth Form
After graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Politics, Social Policy, and Public Sector Management, I embarked on a successful career as a food retail store manager, where I was responsible for overseeing numerous stores. My career journey took a dynamic turn as I transitioned from retail management to education, becoming a history teacher and now serving as Director of Sixth Form.
In my current role, I am fortunate to apply my leadership, organisational, and communication skills to create an enriching educational environment for our students. I am deeply passionate about our school and am committed to fostering academic excellence, supporting student development, and continuously improving the sixth form. It’s a privilege to help shape the future of our students and contribute to the growth of our sixth form community.
Mrs Dixon – Support Services Assistant 6th Form/IAG
I have various qualifications at H.E. Levels 4 to 6 in Advice and Guidance and Social Care and I have worked at Headlands School since around 2001. My previous roles have included Careers Advisor, Youth Support Worker, Clerical Officer, Housing Officer, Security Guard and Zoo Keeper! I have personal experience of different routes including College, Apprenticeships and Higher Education, so I appreciate how everyone’s life journey is unique and how hard it can be to make decisions about your future. I am here to help you and I am based in the Study Centre full-time if you need anything.
