Miss Mulligan – Director of Sixth Form

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Physical Education and School Sport before completing a PGCE at Hull University. I have worked at Headlands School since 2018 as a PE teacher. In 2019 I became the Sixth form Enrichment Coordinator, I was keen to provide students with the opportunity to increase their cultural capital whilst social mixing and having fun. This year I became the Assistant director of Sixth Form. I hope to use an exciting new tutor and PSHCE programme as a vehicle to provide students with relevant, valuable, transferable life skills. Higher education is about more than just academics, Headlands Sixth Form aims to provide a holistic experience for all students, creating well rounded young adults prepared for the experiences they will face in the wider world.

Mrs Dixon – Support Services Assistant 6th Form/IAG

I have various qualifications at H.E. Levels 4 to 6 in Advice and Guidance and Social Care and I have worked at Headlands School since around 2001.  My previous roles have included Careers Advisor, Youth Support Worker, Clerical Officer, Housing Officer, Security Guard and Zoo Keeper!  I have personal experience of different routes including College, Apprenticeships and Higher Education, so I appreciate how everyone’s life journey is unique and how hard it can be to make decisions about your future.  I am here to help you and I am based in the Study Centre full-time if you need anything.
