Our role in the Hybrid Learning Team is to reach out and support students who, for whatever reason, are not currently able to attend school.
We mainly support students in English and Maths up to GCSE level. All of our lessons are tailored to the individual student’s needs and abilities and we aim to cover a broad range of topics as well as fill in any gaps in learning the student might have.
In Maths we cover Functional Skills, AQA at GCSE and White Rose Maths for KS3. In English we follow the KS3 English Curriculum where possible and EDUQAS English Language GCSE.
Teaching can take place online, through Google Classroom, at home or another suitable venue, such as North Bridlington Library.
We also carry out regular home visits to students being taught by the Local Authority.
The Hybrid Team are dedicated, experienced staff who have previously taught in mainstream and the ARC.
Disclaimer: Referrals to the Hybrid Learning team are internal and considered by the Head of School and Lead Practitioner for Hybrid Learning.
