I would proudly like to introduce myself as Head of School at Headlands School. I have worked at the school since January 2012 and have undertaken various roles such as Head of English, Assistant Head for Learning & Progress, Deputy Head for Achievement & Outcomes and now Head of School.

I am wholly committed to Headlands School, the students and the community we serve. I myself have lived in Hornsea on the coast for 44 years! I now live with my husband and children who are in year 11 and year 8. Having grown up as a student and now as a parent of two teenage children, I understand the local context, and connect with both the joys and challenges of living in a small coastal town.

I am committed to ensuring that each student achieves their potential and has opportunities to explore the options available to them as they progress and leave Headlands School. I am impressed on a daily basis by our students, they are truly inspiring and I cherish my interactions with the young people within Headlands School. I am excited about what the future holds and the opportunities afforded to our students to enable them to become the absolute best version of themselves that they can be.
