The purpose of the Hybrid Learning Team is to reach out and support students both academically and emotionally who are not currently able to attend school. Our ambition is to always endeavour to support students re-integrate back into a school setting.

We mainly support students in English, Maths and Science up to GCSE level. All of our lessons are tailored to the individual student’s needs and abilities and we aim to cover a broad range of topics as well as fill in any gaps in learning the student might have.

In Maths we cover Functional Skills, AQA at GCSE and White Rose Maths for KS3. In English we follow the KS3 English Curriculum and EDUQAS English Language GCSE. In Science we follow the KS3 White Rose scheme of learning and at GCSE we follow the AQA curriculum.

Hybrid Learning Teaching can take place at a student’s home or another suitable venue, such as North Bridlington Library.

We also carry out home visits to students being taught by the Local Authority Home Tuition Service to ascertain their feedback and ensure the current provision remains fit for purpose.

The Hybrid Team are dedicated, experienced staff who have previously taught in mainstream schools and The ARC.
