Throughout the year, students are invited to apply to be Student Leaders. These students are role models for Headlands School and assist in the wide array of events that take place such as open events, parents evenings and transition activities.
During the summer term, all Student Leaders visit our primary schools to talk to the Year 6 students about their role at Headlands School and assure them that support is always there if they needed it as they made the transition from primary to secondary school.
Student Leaders have a high profile in the school and support many students and are involved in all of the community events we hold. Student Leaders are always available to support upcoming or current students at times of need and regularly act as mentors to others.
Student Leaders who have a real passion for leadership become part of the Student Leadership Team (Junior SLT) and take on a bigger role within the organising of events and leading our Student Council.
