• We provide regular updates on LMI through our ‘Careers’ Google Classroom for students. These are also shared in tutor and assemblies.
  • Local employers have regular input with students and parents through assemblies and involvement in careers events such as Options Evening, Aspirations Day and work experience placements.
  • Through the ‘job of the week’ activity in tutor time, students see a variety of job roles along with information about salary, hours, and what qualifications are required.
  • By the age of 14, all students have accessed and used information about all career paths and the labour market to inform their own decisions on study options.
  • Parents are encouraged to access and use information about labour markets and future study options to inform their support to their children. This is done through regular communication through Edulink and social media. Parents are also invited to events such as those delivered as part of Headlands School being in a Health and Care project.
